First Family Camping Trip!

Our first family camping trip and it literally rained the ENTIRE time! It could not have been more perfect. :)
We got to have a picnic inside the tent. G thought it was pretty much the coolest thing she has ever done! WHAT I get to walk around and eat, WHAT there is a fan right there that moves, WHAT I have my own pack n play here (Yes its a big tent) WHAT I get to jump on the air mattress??? It was awesome.

Daddy read books while we listened to the rain (I mean downpour) :)
Daddy throwing up G to see if he could get her head to hit the part of the tent where water was collecting to knock it off.... yeah it didn't work but it was an interesting method.
Braving the rain to go on a family walk. We loved the mile paved trail around the camp site. You felt really woodsy but G had a safe place to walk and balance.

The rain decided to give us about 90 minutes of peace. During that time we opened up camping chairs, started a fire and had s'mores!
Doesn't she look so grown up in her big girl camping chair.... oh love.
Daddy chopping wood for the fire.... very manly I might add :)
The greatest gift we will ever give our daughter, being totally in love with each other :)
Pointing out the flames and how hot they are!

Roasting marshmallows and trying them out. Grace just wanted to lick the gooey goodness!
We made it... We only got about 7 hours sleep and we woke up many many times in the night, not G, she slept great. Apparently when you take the bathroom away from Mama it only makes her have to go.... like 4 times in 7 hours (how is that possible??) hehe
Pancakes for breakfast on Daddy's camping stove. Yum Yum! We also had oranges and bananas.
 It melts my heart....

G taking a little break in the tent. No she is not in time out. Mama just wanted to have 5 minutes peace. :)

It was a beautiful site. So perfectly nestled!
A morning walk to the lake. G hung out in the sling for a while. It just calms her down, I love how she melts into me when she is in it.

So much fun! I can't wait until we can go back!
