Life and Science with Millie and Aleks

First stop... you'll never guess. Its the BUTTERFLY HOUSE! And surprise surprise but I think today she finally got excited about the real butterflies. She is always very excited to carry around the giant identification card, but the real butterflies were VERY active today!

These two had a two minute conversation. We have no idea what they were talking about but Millie would say something and then stop. Grace would then respond. It was precious!

 Sitting on the butterfly bench.
Aleks, he is so handsome. :) and patient!
Grace sees a bench and immediately assumes we will probably sit down! She has been trained well.
We found a really neat area we had not seen before. There were rocks for climbing.
Everyone came over so they could be kind of the mountain!
And then everyone came back down. Great gross motor skills!
There were tunnels to go through.
There she goes! Luckily she has not yet figured out how to go up a step ladder! She did stand there for a while wondering about it.

There was mist to run through!
Yeah Grace wanted to be excited about it, but honestly she seemed to have a somewhat "eww gross" attitude, which kind of made me laugh. Normally she gets down and dirty with no fear. :) It was fun to see this side.
There were also sail boats to watch!

And even sail boats you could make yourself. By this point the Mama's were getting pretty hot and tired so we decided 10:45 was close enough to lunch time!
Yum Yum! I love this museum but most of all I love this cafe! They have the best food. Grace was chowing down on this fruit I got for me! Lucky she had yummy apples in her tray so we switched. :)
After lunch we went on the train. Can you ever have too much choo choo? I don't think so.
The girls set for a long time just looking around, mean while I sang wheels on the train and the horn on the train goes choo choo choooo. I'm pretty sure they thought I was crazy. hehe
We briefly stopped to check out the sandbox. Grace stuck two rocks in her mouth and I decided we should move on. hehe
 Drumming out.
I love how she knows where the sticks go after she is done, and where to find them when she wants to play some more.
 Drumming with Aleks.
 And more drumming with Millie.
Last stop, inside area so we could listen to Millie reading some books.
We had a wonderful day. :)
