Before we left for Marbles this girl was reading up a storm! I had to sneak a picture into one of my blogs. She often pulls out books and I love how she reads the books to herself now.
During the first 30 minutes the kids sit around in a circle and sing different songs. They have props to use for all the songs like rubber ducks when sinking five little ducks and a bumblebee for Im bringing home a baby bublebee. There was also a time when classical music was played and we used all kinds of instruments.
G loves helping clean up.
Water table had ducks in it! It was a favorite. :)
Shaving cream and colored ice cubes. As the ice melted the shaving cream changed colors... never would have thought of that!
My child is not a fan of those big three piece puzzles, I thought she just didn't like puzzles at all so I never really pushed it. These Melissa and Doug puzzles with smaller pieces were a total hit! She LOVED them. Apparently the big ones are too baby for her? Needless to say we went to a consignment sale after this and now we own three of them :) Gotta go with what works!
Pretend kitchen play. G loves cooking!
Watercolors! She was totally into putting water on the different colors and then painting on her paper.
Uncle Tay Tay was able to come out after our class and go around the rest of the museum with us. They had really cool centers upstairs. Tiles with letters and pictures on the back.
BIG beads for stringing.
Cardboard blocks for stacking.
She made her own tower and did not immediately push it over!
A garden to check out the dirt and plants.
This one freaks out Mama, its a wire cage looking over the whole museum (2 stories up!)
Had to throw in our first loaded baked potato pic that night! Yum Yum!
