We found another amazing pool with Mimi on Water Wednesdays! Lake Johnson Pool is in Raleigh but only 15-20 minutes from our house. They had an amazing toddler area!
It was completely fenced in with a very large toddler pool. 10-18 inches in the very center and a life guard on duty for just this pool.
It was so fun to watch Grace become comfortable with herself and her balance in the water.
I just love this little girl.
Right next to the toddler area there is a splash pad, which is also completely fenced in. Grace did her normal Grace behavior of wanting to sit on the edge and observe how everything works before diving in.
Then she slowly checks it out to see if it is really safe. :) I guess I should LOVE that she shows a little apprehension. She is such an energetic child it is nice to see her slow down every once in a while. hehe
Then of course filling containers with water. Grace "borrowed" this one from another child but she really loves clear containers. I need to remember to save Parmesan cheese shakers and PB jars, clear plastic!

Becoming more adventurous Grace has now ventured over to check out the spraying water.
I love this, we went from watching the water, to barely touching it, to filling containers and now we are sitting on it. So kid. <3

And of course afterwards we celebrated this hot day with our first ice cream cone! :) Yum Yum!
