Marbles Museum

No class today, we just headed to the museum with a few friends to check out the new section they just opened up! For the last 2 months they have been updating the large preschool area downstairs. They put in new carpet and painted it all. It looks great!
Grace had fun playing at the new train tables they set up!
The car has always been a favorite, but today there was a new background to check out. I could not get her to look at me. She was so fascinated. :)
She still loves the back of the ambulance. Today a little girl helped bring her back to life. (Her favorite part is getting shocked.) figures. hehe
Waiting for something, she just kept saying "pleeeeease"
When no one came she got to work saving a few babies that happened to be on board. She would put the paddle on their bellies and shack it. She so cracks me up!
Come on babies, you are all better now!
They still had an area set up with tables for station learning. We practiced picking up the bugs with tongs.
We also drew on the etch a sketch. I love how when she gets serious about coloring she always lays her head down, almost as if she can't color and support her head at the same time. So much work.
Grace's buddies Ella and Megan were there too! I

We found an ocean room that had always been there but I never knew about. There were ocean animals and bubbles to stand on. Henry is making sure Grace is doing alright. hehe
The new farm section and an animal noise maker. Push the button and hear the animal sound. As you can imagine this was a serious favorite.
There was also a new section with small balls. G is so fiercely independent. She just walks up and begins playing, I love that about her.
She fed some horses in the little stable area. They were very thirsty!
We took a break for a yummy lunch. PB and honey, cantaloupe, watermelon, and peppers! (raisins and almonds for Grace too) She ate it all.
Uncle Taylor joined us for lunch. It is always so nice with Tay Tay comes. Around lunch time Mommy realizes she is exhausted from keeping a close watch over my tiny, always moving, munchkin. Its the perfect chance to another pair of eyes to take over! Thanks Taylor :)
The balanced on the surf board.
And lifted heavy weights. WOW she is strong! :)
We also built some lego towers with Henry. Mostly Grace knocked towers over, but she did  manage to help with a few pieces.

Henry and Grace shot some hoops and Grace even had a slam dunk! (Good thing they have a tiny basketball hoop, such a great idea!)
Finally Taylor and Grace played on the submarine. Grace really loves pushing all the "real" buttons. So glad we got to spend 3 hours exploring this great space.
