G is a mover and a shaker so we have to find things to keep her busy in every day life. She is soaking up new activities like a sponge and I like to keep her doing activities I have approved. :)
This weekend we played checkers, I showed her how to put the pieces on the black squares, which she did attempt to do. Then I showed her how to jump pieces, she loved that. Last I showed her how they can stack.
Obviously the entire concept of the game is lost on an 18 month old, but some of the pieces she really enjoyed. She felt very grown up as she sat there in the middle of the checker board!
